The park is located right on the beautiful beach. There are lifeguards are on duty every day from 9 am – 5 pm. This awesome staff is certified or licensed as First Responders or EMT’s.  Not to mention there are designated surfing and skim board areas are located at the north and south end of the beach.

Sea turtle nesting season is March 1 – October 31. Please be extremely careful not to disturb their nests and it may not be a bad idea to do some research before running into a turtle nest!

There is a parking lot right next to the park with covered parking spots. Keep in mind, the parking lot may fill up during the busy beach hours and permits do not guarantee you a spot.

Visitors are now able to pay for parking in the City of Boynton Beach by using the online parking portal or through the ParkMobile app. The free app provides a quick and easy way for users to make contactless payments without touching high-touch surface areas. Also, Annual parking permits may be purchased at City Hall (100 E. Ocean Ave., Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm).

A park wouldn’t be complete without a playground. The Oceanfront Park has two playgrounds including a tot area which is designed for those between ages 2 and 5 to keep the older kids from running all over the tots. The other play area is designed for children ages 5-12. As always, please watch your children at all times on the playground.

This park isn’t just for the kids. If you want to enjoy some outdoor time by the ocean there’s a fitness area right next to the playgrounds. Get a quick workout in on your way to the beach.

After you’ve had your fun or workout, go refuel at the Turtle Café located right next to the park. The Turtle Café offers a variety of food and snacks, including breakfast items and healthier options. This café is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.

Overall this park is a win win for all those involved. Here’s what the locals have to say:

“Love the showers, bathrooms, food concession, park for children to run and play. Picnic and grill areas. Only place I take family.”

“Great safe place with lifeguards and roaming police. Good food stand and facilities. Umbrellas available for rent. Plenty of shade and playground when you want it.!!”
